 NEWTON'S FIRST LAW   Education,Law,Writing Newton’s first law is also called the law of inertia . The inertia of the object is measured by its mass. Mass of an object is determined by measuring how it is difficult for an object to accelerate. It helps one to realize more about motion. Newton’s first law states that the object that is at rest stays at that place and the object in motion stays in motion with same speed and in the same direction unless the action is taken by the unbalanced force. The unbalanced force comes from external force.  Force can be explained as a push or a pull that is exerted by an object to another.
